Gwen began to follow Miles more earnestly and tracked him and a Spider-Man from another dimension, Peter B. Outside, she saw Miles walking on a wall in a panic. Gwen later intentionally bumped into Miles, not expecting the boy, who was still adjusting to his day-old powers, to accidentally get his fingers stuck in her hair, forcing her to get the side of her head shaved. Her spider-sense led her to Brooklyn Visions Academy - specifically, to Miles Morales. Meet Spider-Gwen - SPIDER-MAN- INTO THE SPIDER-VERSEĪround two years after she became Spider-Woman, Gwen was pulled into a portal that took her to a different dimension and time, landing her a week before the portal opened up in that world.
Devastated that she wasn't able to save him, Gwen began to distance herself from other people to avoid "distractions" and singularly dedicated her life to protecting others. Gwen's best friend at one point became the Lizard, whom she had to defeat.
At one point, she saved her father from certain death. As Gwen, she joined a band as its drummer, and she had a best friend: Peter. At a young age, Gwen was bitten by a radioactive spider and, using her newfound spider-like abilities to fight crime, became known as Spider-Woman.
